The home should be a treasure chest of living

– Le Corbusier

I’m thrilled! I found a new member to our old furniture collection; a wooden sideboard which will work nicely in our living room.  It’s obviously old and it was quite dirty when we got it, in desperate need to be cleaned and freshened up. Although, I could see a great outcome in my mind, I have to admit, this exceeded my expectations – it’s simply perfect! I was lucky enough to be the first one to reserve it in a flea market and we picked it up already the same evening. It was a bargain, not expensive at all if you compare to similar ones. I’m so glad the living room is slowly taking the look and feeling, which I’ve desired.

This weekend was nice, although I felt a bit ineffective. That often happens to me when I’m having a lot of plans in my head. Today I’ll go and get myself a new project, which means I’ll have quite a few furniture already in need for new paint. I have chalk paint for that purpose, so I’ll share some of the steps with you later on.

Have a really nice Monday!
